FASTER

The brief

Dax doesn't do anything at half speed. 'FASTER' featuring Tech N9ne is an adrenaline record: aggressive, physical, competitive. Dax wanted a video that matched the intensity bar for bar. He also wanted to do his own stunts. No doubles. The brief was simple: make it feel as relentless as the song sounds.

The approach

We built the video around Dax's physicality. He's an athlete-turned-rapper, and we leaned into that: real stunts, real exertion, real sweat. No CGI, no stunt doubles, no safety nets on the visual ambition.

The edit is fast and rhythmic, cutting on beat to keep the pacing locked to the track's energy. Tech N9ne's verse gets its own visual treatment, a shift in tone that gives the viewer a breath before the intensity ramps back up.

The production was lean and efficient: a small crew, a tight shoot schedule, and a director-to-artist rapport that let us move fast and capture authentic energy rather than manufactured intensity.

The result

The official music video dropped August 2020, following a lyric video that had already racked up 2.9 million views. FASTER cemented the Tech N9ne x Dax collaboration as one of the year's hardest-hitting independent hip-hop releases and showcased that high-energy music video production doesn't require a Hollywood budget. Just a director and artist who trust each other enough to go all in.
