Proof, not promises
How it works
01
Send the song
Use the contact form. Tell me the track, the timeline, and roughly what you want people to feel when it ends. You get a reply within 48 hours.
02
Get a treatment
I come back with a concept built for your song and your budget: the story, the look, the locations, and what it costs. No vague mood boards, an actual plan.
03
Shoot it
I direct, and depending on scope I also produce, shoot, and edit. One person accountable for the whole thing from first frame to final export.
04
Get the video
You get the finished video plus cutdowns for the platforms you actually post on. Revisions are part of the process, not a fight.
Straight answers
- What does a music video cost?
- The contact form has budget ranges from under $2K to $50K+. A one-location performance video and a full narrative production are different animals, so the treatment always shows what your budget buys before anything is booked.
- Do you only work in Kansas City?
- Based in Kansas City, available nationwide. Most videos shoot in and around KC because it keeps budgets on the screen, but travel is on the table for the right project.
- Do you work with independent artists or just labels?
- Both. The day job is Creative Director of Strange Music's in-house video department; the freelance work spans indie artists to brands. The bar for the idea is the same either way.
- What if I only need editing, photography, or a director for hire?
- That works too. Directing, producing, editing, photography, and creative direction are all on the services page, together or separately.
Your song deserves better than a safe video.
