About
Cameron Logan Cox is a filmmaker, music video director, photographer, and the Creative Director of Strange Music's in-house video department, based in Kansas City, Missouri.
With over 30 music video and short film credits for Tech N9ne, Lil Wayne, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jelly Roll, Dax, and Strange Music Inc., Cameron brings a story-first approach to every project. His biggest, "Face Off," co-directed with Chris Stempel, put Tech N9ne and The Rock face to face, trended #1 on YouTube, and has passed 92 million views. Most recently he directed and shot Tech N9ne's official FIFA World Cup 26 Kansas City anthem.
The method behind all of it: story first, no wasted frames. Twists get built backwards from the ending, and ambition gets built on the screen. For YODA, that meant crash-landing Tech N9ne and Lil Wayne on a Dagobah-style swamp planet: a practical spaceship stage shot on green screen and extended into a full Star Wars universe, from the crashed ship to the hyperspace jump.
Beyond music, Cameron shoots photography (portraits, production stills, conceptual series, and events) and consults on branding and creative direction for artists and brands. He directs narrative short films and is currently in development on his feature-length debut.
He's available for music video direction, commercial production, photography, and creative direction, in Kansas City and nationwide.
